Steve Makely

Founder & Managing Partner

Mr. Makely founded Blackshore Partners in 2024 and leads the firm’s strategy planning, advisory and capital raising activities. Prior to the formation of Blackshore, Mr. Makely served as Vice President at Lineage Merchant Partners, where he played a key role in the execution of more than $100 million worth of transaction value across capital markets and M&A advisory engagements. Prior to joining Lineage, Mr. Makely held roles with ELLO Capital, a boutique investment bank, and Bainbridge, a leading investment banking and management consulting firm, where he advised various financial sponsors and corporate enterprises on buy-side M&A, sell-side M&A and private capital raise assignments in the consumer, industrials, healthcare and business services sectors.

Mr. Makely began his career as a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones and received his B.B.A. in International Business from the University of San Diego. He is a FINRA registered representative and holds Series 7 and Series 66 licenses.

Jasmine Shih

Strategic Advisor, Investor

Ms. Shih is a seasoned entrepreneur, advisor and investor. She joined Blackshore Partners as a strategic advisor in 2024, where she oversees the firm’s operations and principal investment activities. Prior to joining Blackshore, she was the Managing General Partner and Program Manager at Edgewood Ventures, a Silicon Valley-based single-family office (SFO), and Venture Partner at Redwood Collective, a premier fund-of-funds focused on investments in Tier 1 and late-stage venture capital funds across technology, IT and healthcare.

Ms. Shih has held various executive, corporate and advisory roles in product development, business development and operations with companies including JUDOBABY, Coherent Inc., Applied Materials and GE Capital. She continues to serve as a partner at a Silicon Valley-based single-family office and active investor with the Berkeley Angel Network.

Ms. Shih is a first-generation U.S. citizen and earned her B.S. in Business Administration from CSU San Marcos in 1996.
